Though it is uncertain what we would do with the oranges it remains clear that we will be lifelong friends.
After meeting in Beijing in 2007 we quickly realized we were kindred spirits. Besides teaching English and moonlighting as socialites, we took some pretty amazing trips around the vast country of China. After awhile we traded in our high heels and comfort for backpacks and maps... tackling SouthEast Asia.
Even though our homes are eons apart (Emma in Australia and Anna in the USA) we still remain close. It can be tricky when there is a giant ocean in between best friends!
Now we are embarking on different paths. Emma will be voyaging all around India and Nepal, ending up in the UK, while Anna has started the journey of marriage. No matter where we are, who we are with, and where life has taken us, our friendship stays constant.
These are our postcards... glimpses into our lives to show each other, and the world, the things we wish we were sharing in person.
